so all i did today was follow a girl around and help her close up while she told me what to do. but when i was driving home i felt great. i just felt like i did something or something like that. i don't know. i know there will be days where i will curse this post, but for today i feel like we were just made to work in some way. you can't just chill all the time.
since i didn't officialy have the job until after i was done for the day, i wasn't on the payroll yet. so they paid me with a turkey sandwich, a peanut butter bar and a macaroon. it's all delicious, but let me explain this peanut butter bar - it's literally the softest peanut butter in a rectangular cbar with chocolate on top, chilled. thats it. so rich. but so yummy. actually it's great that it's so rich cause i won't finish it in one sitting, and i have dessert for a few meals. my goal is to only have to buy cereal and milk while i'm working this summer. that would be nice.
also, i watched the movie nowhere boy yesterday. it's about john lennon's teenage years - meeting paul mccartney and all that. it hasn't been released in the u.s. yet, but my friend has an internship at a movie company production place and one of the perks is copying dvds. and she shares. mmhmm. anyway - fabulous movie. i really loved it.

beautifuly filmed, wonderfuly performed - i'm not sure of the accuracy to truth, but it worked terrifically for a film. i highly recommend seeing it when it is released.a little sketch though that aaron johnson, who plays lennon, is engaged to and the father of the directors child. he is 19. she is 43. mmmm. yes. sketch sketch.
cheers.
